Earn extra CPD points with the YFD program

As the year draws to a close, many healthcare professionals are seeking ways to complete their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements. The AMA (WA) Youth Friendly Doctor (YFD) Program offers an opportunity to earn some extra points at your convenience.
The program offers a series of CPD-accredited recordings, each designed to provide practical insights and skills to help healthcare providers address key issues affecting youth. With the flexibility to complete these at your own pace, you can gain CPD hours while learning strategies to engage and support young patients.

How to earn CPD points
To earn your CPD points, please reach out to amy.raats@amawa.com.au for the necessary pre- and post-workshop paperwork and readings. You will receive a certificate of attendance for your records.
Become a Youth Friendly Doctor
By completing at least two YFD workshops, you’ll earn accreditation as a Youth Friendly Doctor and be listed on our YFD directory, promoted to more than 4,000 school-aged children across Western Australia.
