New Industrial Agreement secured

We successfully negotiated an 11.5% salary increase over three years, a $4,000 annual Professional Development Allowance, better rostering, overtime pay, and more benefits specific to Doctors in Training.

Hospital Health Check Survey

With a focus on morale, culture, wage theft, bullying, career progression, and leave, the Health Check gathers insights on DiTs’ working conditions, helping us advocate for improvements with HSPs.

Orientation and training pay now a reality

The Industrial Relations team secured full compensation for all Interns and Doctors in Training for orientation and pre-employment training completed before Orientation Week and outside paid working hours.

15% salary growth in the RFDS Enterprise Agreement

The new RFDS Enterprise Agreement includes a significant salary increase for Royal Flying Doctors over the next three years, and important provisions for fatigue management and non-clinical time.

Meets regularly and represents DiTs from internship through to trainee registrars. The group liaises with the RMO Societies at each hospital to ensure it has a good understanding of on-the-ground issues at all sites.
