Our Industrial Relations team holds regular in-person sessions at universities to discuss AMA (WA) activities and your industrial entitlements.

Supporting your Ahpra registration

We assist with any challenges you may face during your Ahpra registration process.

Orientation and training pay now a reality

The Industrial Relations team secured full compensation for all Interns and Doctors in Training for orientation and pre-employment training completed before Orientation Week and outside paid working hours.

MedVault revision course

Led by two emergency specialists, this two-day exam workshop is designed to help final-year students pass their exams.

State-based advocacy led by MSCWA

The Medical Student Council of WA (MSCWA) is led by a Chair and Deputy. It includes the three WA MedSoc presidents, and three Australian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA) reps from each MedSoc.

Supporting medical societies

We provide ongoing support to WAMSS, MSAND, and CAMS with events, initiatives, seminars, and more.

Representation in public health policy

Our team regularly engages with WA Health and the Minister, providing feedback on policies, and advocating for the changes that matter to you.

Doctors in Training Practice Group

Meets regularly and represents DiTs from internship through to trainee registrars. The group liaises with the RMO Societies at each hospital to ensure it has a good understanding of on-the-ground issues at all sites.
