The AMA (WA) – your professional support throughout your student life

The AMA (WA) works closely with medical students undertaking undergraduate and graduate medical courses at the University of Western Australia, the University of Notre Dame and Curtin University

The Australian Medical Association (WA) recognises that medical students are the future of medicine. We support you during your student years with FREE membership, and help you transition successfully through the early stages of your career and beyond.

We value the voices and views of our medical students – which is why the presidents of the various student societies are invited to be a part of the AMA (WA) Council. Every month, they sit alongside and engage with AMA (WA) leadership and other councillors, sharing their concerns and ideas.

As you move into internship and your initial years of training, the AMA (WA) stands ready to guide, advise and support you.
