Vinnies CEO Sleepout

AMA (WA) CEO Dr Bennie Ng will be joining the virtual Vinnies CEO Sleepout in support of the St Vincent de Paul Society and those experiencing homelessness in Australia. Next Thursday 18 June, Dr Ng will be sleeping in his backyard to support this worthy cause.
Your support via donations and comments of encouragement are most welcome. If you can, donations can be made online.
On any given night in WA, around 9,000 people are homeless. And the rate of primary homelessness (i.e., sleeping rough) is higher in our State at 4.4 per 10,000 of the population than in Australia overall (3.5 per 10,000).
Over the next week, Dr Ng aims to raise $5,000 but it cannot be done without your help. Any donation will help in our ultimate aim, ensuring that St Vinnie’s can continue to run its homelessness services, providing a hand up to people in need all over Australia. Now in its 15th year, this is a very worthy fundraiser.
