You’re invited to join the AMA (WA) General Practice Group
Friday March 14, 2025
The AMA (WA) relies on our members to volunteer their time to shape policy and advocate for the profession.
We are inviting GP Registrars to join the General Practice Group, a committee dedicated to providing expert advice, addressing key issues, and influencing the AMA (WA)’s policy agenda.
Why Join?
- Make an Impact: Help shape the future of general practice by contributing to AMA (WA) policy and advocacy efforts.
- Professional Development: Gain valuable experience in medical leadership, policymaking, and collaboration with peers.
- Networking: Connect with experienced GPs, industry leaders, and fellow registrars.
- Representation: Ensure the voice of GP registrars is heard in key discussions affecting the profession.
Every Practice Group meets about six times a year and reports directly to the AMA (WA) Council. We encourage gender diversity with a target of 40% women, 40% men, and 20% flexible representation.
We welcome any questions! If you’re interested, please check out the Practice Group Terms of Reference, download and complete the nomination form, and return it via email or to amy.raats@amawa.com.au
